About this policy:
This is the FIND IT ROBOT™ privacy policy. It explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We wrote it in plain English because that’s how we write everything.
Who we are:
FIND IT ROBOT™ is a product of Dude, Where Is This Car, Inc., a Delaware corporation. Our website is finditrobot.com. You can reach us at the contact info at the bottom of this page.
What we collect when you buy or contact us:
When you sign up for a Dealer Plan, buy PING!Tags™, or contact us, we collect your name, your dealership name, your email address, your phone number, your billing address and payment information, and your shipping address for PING!Tag™ orders. If you sign up for the FIND IT ROBOT™ Club, we collect your email address. We don’t collect anything from you that you don’t give us.
What the FIND IT ROBOT app collects:
To help your team find keys and vehicles, the FIND IT ROBOT app stores the information your dealership puts into it: staff user accounts, vehicle details such as VINs, which PING!Tags™ are assigned to which keys and vehicles, and your lot maps and zones.
When a participating staff iPhone detects a nearby PING!Tag™, the app records when and where that detection happened. That is how FIND IT ROBOT builds the last-seen history for each tagged key and vehicle. The app uses Bluetooth and the iPhone’s location only for this purpose, and only while the app is in use by your staff.
Your dealership’s app data belongs to your dealership. We use it only to run FIND IT ROBOT for you and to provide Priority Care support.
Why we collect it:
To set up and run your Dealer Plan — we need your dealership and contact information to build your custom app, set up your account, and bill your plan. To ship your orders — we need your shipping address to send you PING!Tags™. To support you — if you contact us or use Priority Care, we keep your messages so we can help. To send you the emails you signed up for — if you join the FIND IT ROBOT™ Club, we use your email address to send you updates.
Who we share it with:
We share only what’s necessary, only with the companies that help us run the business. Stripe processes all payments and manages Dealer Plan billing — they see your payment and billing
